Luna Lovegood Cosplay Costume

Luna Lovegood wears quirky sunglasses called Spectrespecs. For Luna's head, first, you'll need a long curly pale blonde wig.

You can wear it loose or tie it in a low ponytail. You can also choose to bleach your eyebrows like Luna's.

No witch or wizard in the Harry Potter universe would be caught dead without his or her want, so you'll need to carry around a replica of Luna's wand.

And because Luna's father, Xenophilius, is the editor of the Quibbler magazine, you will also need to carry around some copies of the Quibbler to distribute to other people. You can print your own magazine or print a copy of the cover and stick it over some old magazines.

About Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter

Luna Lovegood is a memorable character in the Harry Potter universe. We first see her in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (both the book and the movie).

She is often called Loony Lovegood by her peers because her opinions about the world strike them as quite strange. 

Luna watched her mother die when she was very young. As a result, she has been able to see the Hogwarts thestrals from her 1st year.

She becomes close friends with Harry Potter, to the point that Harry and his wife Ginny eventually name their youngest daughter after her: Lily Luna.
