Megara’s costume begins with a purple Grecian style dress with a lavender sash worn across her middle. You can accomplish this with a piece of lavender tulle fabric tied around your waist.

Grab some large, golden buttons to attach to the shoulder straps of the dress to mimic Meg’s own.

Get the classic look of Greek sandals with brown cross strappy sandals on your feet. 

Meg’s hairstyle is long and wavy, with some of it gathered at the top of her head. Accomplish this look with a Megara wig.

Megara Cosplay Costume

For many, Hercules the movie was an introduction to Greek mythology. Even though Meg is not a real figure in the myths, she is a big part of the movie.

Fans of Greek mythology would love dressing as Megara. This costume is inspired by ancient Greek ensembles, reminiscent of a toga.

About Megara from Hercules

Megara is a witty and fierce character from the Disney movie, Hercules. She is very pretty and uses both her appearance and her charms to get her way.

She uses this skill on Hercules, the heroic son of Zeus and Hera, to get him to help her. All the while, Meg is in debt to Hades, the god of the dead, while trying to heal from her heartbreak.

Over the course of the movie, Meg ends up falling in love with Hercules, changing her views on love. She tries to sacrifice herself for someone she loves, only for Hercules to intervene and save her.
