About Pinhead
Pinhead is also called the Hell Priest, Lead Cenobite, and other identities. The character was initially featured as an unknown entity in Clive Barker's novella The Hellbound Heart, published in 1986.
The dude who would evolve into Pinhead appeared in the initial Hellraiser film. Elliott Spencer was his name after he transformed into the person with the pins in his head.
He was previously a British captain in the military services. His encounters during World War I made him disgusted with life and people. This disenchantment drove him to call the Cenobites an evil race.
Spencer had become a member of them after summoning the gang to him. He eventually became renowned as the Hell Priest and the ruler of the Cenobites.
