You’ll Need:
In this comedy film, unemployed and single, The Dude does not have eventful days. He spends most of his time smoking marijuana, going bowling, and drinking White Russians with his friends. That is, until adventure calls.
Putting together a The Dude costume is easier than it looks, as all his most iconic pieces are quite easy to find. Start off with The Dude Wig and Goatee Set to achieve a lazy vibe. For the top, grab a Purple V-Neck T-Shirt underneath the Cardigan Sweater. For the bottom, get The Dude Pajama Pants and Sneaker to complete the look.
The Dude has a very specific look that might seem typical on its surface but is characterized by a few key things. The first of these important pieces of the cosplay is the famed Pendleton sweater. You'll need to find a dark purple tee with a small V-neck to wear beneath the sweater. For the pants, you can shop for pajama pants that have a similar appearance both in color and style. You may even be able to find a shop that sells pajama bottoms made to appear like lookalikes.
To finish off The Dude costume, you'll need a pair of men's open-toed sandals with three straps on the feet. Choose a black color. His wavy, long hair is another iconic piece of this cosplay, so you need to track down a wig with shoulder-length light brown/blond hair to top off the costume.
Though The Big Lebowski did not initially do that great in theaters, it became something of a cult classic in the time that followed. Jeffrey Bridges' character, The Dude, was a massive reason for that. The Dude is an iconic character who is known especially for wearing his Pendleton sweater and drinking White Russians. Beyond that, there are some quotes from the movie he is also responsible for that made it so popular.
During his adventures in the film, The Dude gets caught up in a millionaire's business by virtue of sharing the same name with him. After being assaulted for money he doesn't have due to a mix-up with their names, his daily life is shaken up. The Dude's help is enlisted to go and pay the ransom for the millionaire's wife who was kidnapped. He brings along a friend, Walter Sobchak, who ultimately ends up ruining the mission when he decides he wants to try and keep the money for himself.

3. “Sooner or later you are going to have to face the fact that you’re a moron.”

5. “I can’t be worrying about that sh*t. Life goes on, man.”
